Bernstein tools
Bernstein cutting tools cover scissors, scalpels, utility knives, locking scissors, fibre glass pens, and ceramic blades for cutting and separating work in electronics, electrical engineering, and fine mechanics. Scissors are available in several versions: coarse (5-302) and fine serration (5-308), round tip (5-310), locking scissors with serrated jaws (5-161), standard (5-305, 140 mm), and household scissors (5-311, 180 mm). Scalpels with interchangeable blades (handle 2-102-1, blades no. 10, 10A, 11, 12, 13) allow precise cuts; utility knives (5-515, 140 mm; 5-517, 160 mm) with replaceable blades are available in an ESD version (5-519) with dissipative housing.

For precise cuts on PCBs, films, and thin materials, scalpels with interchangeable blades (2-102-1) are the appropriate choice. Standard utility knives (5-515, 5-517) for straight cuts on cable, insulation, and card; ESD utility knife (5-519) for work in EPA zones. Ceramic trimmer blades (1-758, 1-764) are non-conductive and designed for use on trimmer potentiometers on PCBs. Fibre glass pens clean contacts without risk of scratching. The flat metal pry tool (2-124) opens housings without damaging plastic clips.
