Rugby Rotating Lasers and Kits

Rugby Rotating Lasers

This category lists the Leica Rugby rotating lasers as single instruments and as complete kits made up of laser, hand-held receiver, bracket and transport case. The instruments project a rotating laser plane for height transfer, grade and alignment and are operated outdoors with a Rod Eye or a Combo receiver. Available are the Rugby 610, 620, 640 and 640G series, the Rugby 680 dual grade laser and the Rugby CLH and CLA, whose feature set is defined by the CLX 200, CLX 300 and CLX 400 software configurations. Kits can be identified by the stated working range, receiver type and grade mode, for example 1350 m with a Combo receiver and semi-automatic dual axis grade.

🌐 Working range - The figure is the working diameter with a receiver, from 400 m indoors through 1100 m up to 1350 m on open sites.
Grade mode - Manual dial-in (CLX 200), semi-automatic single axis (CLX 300) or dual axis (CLX 400) grade, and fully automatic dual grade up to 15 % on the CLAx700.
Operating planes - Horizontal only is enough for levels, units with vertical mode such as the Rugby CLAx550 and CLAx700 also cover plumb and alignment work.
Red or green - Red units are the standard for receiver work outdoors, the green Rugby 640G targets interior fit-out where the beam itself has to be visible.
📦 Kit or single unit - Kits include receiver, bracket and case, some add the RC400 remote control, a ceiling target or a Li-ion battery, single units extend existing equipment.
