Dual grade rotating laser set 1100 m with Rod Eye 140 Classic receiver and alkaline operation - Leica Rugby 680

Drainage falls, ramps and parking areas are awkward to produce with a purely horizontal laser. The Leica Rugby 680 accepts the required slope in both axes up to ±8 percent as a dialled-in figure and drives to it semi automatically. At ±1.5 mm over 30 m it works more precisely than any other model in the Rugby 600 series, and together with the Rod Eye 140 Classic receiver the set covers a working diameter of 1100 m.

Applications

Producing drainage falls on yards, car parks and flat roofs, forming ramps and access routes, bringing trenches and pipe beds to design grade, shaping terrain in landscaping, fine grading in road and path construction, levelling floor slabs and foundations.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

All Leica Rod Eye receivers of the red series with a detectable spectrum of 600 to 800 nm suit the Rugby 680, meaning Rod Eye 120 Basic, Rod Eye 140 Classic and Rod Eye 160 Digital. With the Rod Eye 120 Basic the working diameter is 900 m. The laser accepts either the A150 alkaline battery holder supplied here or the A600 Li-Ion battery.
