Diagonal cutter with narrow head, VDE insulated 1000 V, 140 mm - Knipex 70 06 140

Between closely spaced terminal blocks every millimetre of head width counts. The 70 06 140 diagonal cutter has a narrow head style and cuts hard wire up to 1.8 mm dia. with induction hardened edges of approx. 61 HRC, at only 140 mm length and 160 g.

Areas of use

Electrical installation, control cabinet and distribution board building, maintenance and assembly. The short 140 mm design suits work inside sub-distribution boards and installation boxes where a 160 mm tool can no longer be guided cleanly.

Standards and conformity

The diagonal cutter complies with DIN ISO 5749. The insulated grip sleeves are VDE tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 and are therefore approved for live working up to 1000 V AC. According to the manufacturer the pliers contain no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply.
