Choosing the right LED2WORK luminaire
Location and protection rating
Start with the environment. For machines exposed to coolant, chips or high-pressure cleaning, choose luminaires with a high protection rating such as IP69K. At the workplace or in office-like settings, lower ratings such as IP40 or IP50 are often sufficient.
Form factor and mounting
- Machine lights (e.g. TUBELED, FIELDLED): flat surface mounting directly on the equipment.
- Workplace and articulated-arm lights (UNILED): flexibly positioned for assembly and inspection stations.
- Profile and tube lights (PROFILED, INROLED): linear lighting, pendant or built-in mounting.
Light colour and functions
Models with Tunable White can be set steplessly between warm white and daylight white (around 3000-6500 K). Variants with an RGB-W signal function additionally indicate machine states in colour. For visual inspection, multi-row inspection lights and magnifier lamps provide shadow-free, low-glare light.
