ESD main filter for solder fume extraction FT 1 - Filtronic 030-211-0011-A1

When extraction performance at the FT 1 noticeably drops or solder fumes become perceptible at the bench again, the main filter is exhausted. This Filtronic ESD main filter replaces it as the central filter stage of the unit and is dissipative so that no charge builds up at the ESD workstation.

Applications

The filter is used at manual soldering benches, in rework and in repair areas of electronics production where an FT 1 extracts solder fumes directly at the source. Replacement is part of recurring maintenance and should happen at the latest when the airflow starts to drop.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

For the Filtronic FT 1 extraction unit only. Delivery comprises one ESD main filter. Prefilters and filter discs are not included and are ordered separately.

The dissipative construction supports operation in ESD protected areas according to IEC 61340-5-1.
