ESD Kapton polyimide tape 10 mm x 33 m, dissipative, up to 300 °C - WL47251

For day-to-day solder masking on printed circuit boards, 10 mm is the most common tape width. This dissipative polyimide tape protects pads, plated holes and connector contacts during wave soldering and stays stable up to 300 °C for short periods.

Applications

Masking contact surfaces, plated holes and connector contacts before wave soldering, shielding neighbouring components during hot air rework, fixing thermocouples for profile measurement and masking during coating.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

One roll of 10 mm width and 33 m length on a core with 76 mm inner diameter. The same series offers widths of 6, 8, 12, 15, 19 and 25 mm.

The dissipative tape material is intended for use in EPA areas according to IEC 61340-5-1.
