Not every shipping defect comes from a drop, continuous vibration on the parcel belt is often enough. The 20 mm nub structure of this insert absorbs such movement and keeps the component still inside the Cortronic 05-TVS shipping box with its 100 x 55 mm format.

Application

The insert is called for wherever fragile parts travel by parcel service, for instance sensors with a glass window, crystals or mated connections. Two inserts, one at the bottom and one at the top of the 05-TVS box, enclose the component completely in foam. In house, the same insert serves as a rest for parts that wait between two operations.
