High work chairs and work stools for standing desks, high workbenches, laboratory benches and machine workstations: 351 models from Bimos, meychair, Grendene, Treston, Warmbier, Bosch Rexroth, Bedrunka+Hirth and Throna. Seat heights range from 470 to 930 mm. The range comprises 237 chairs and 114 stools, 109 of them in ESD version.

Seat height and working height
Adjustment ranges from 470 to 930 mm. At working heights of 900 to 1100 mm the seat height is about 600 to 850 mm. From around 600 mm the chair needs a foot ring or step.

160 models with glides, 110 with castors, one with a disc base. Glides are safer at high workstations because the chair stays put when climbing on.

In an EPA the chair is part of the grounding path. Charges flow from the person through cover, mechanism, gas lift and base to conductive castors or glides and on through the dissipative floor. DIN EN 61340-5-1 requires a resistance from seat surface to ground point below 1 x 1010 ohms for seating.

- Which seat height do I need at a 1000 mm workbench?
- About 700 to 720 mm. The model should cover this value in the middle of its adjustment range, the category runs from 470 to 930 mm.
- Why a foot ring or step?
- From a seat height of around 600 mm the feet no longer reach the floor. Without support the front edge of the seat presses into the thighs.
- Castors or glides on high chairs?
- Mostly glides (160 models), because the chair stays put when sitting down. Castors (110 models) only where the position changes frequently.
- Are there high ESD work chairs?
- Yes, 109 models are ESD versions to DIN EN 61340-5-1. Discharge requires a dissipative floor.
