Components with exposed leads need a support during dispatch that brings all pins to the same potential. This conductive profiled foam insert in the 183 x 127 mm format covers the base of the larger Cortronic shipping boxes and cushions it to a height of 20 mm.

Application

Conductive foam is used wherever components with open contacts are transported, for example populated pin headers, sensors or test samples from the measuring station. The pins are pressed into the nubs, the component sits firmly and all leads share the same potential. For dispatch out of the EPA the insert also provides the cushioning, while in in-house circulation it serves as a reusable support inside the box. The range also covers further formats.
