Heavier assemblies and housing parts need more than a liner in the container, they need a nest. This firm XLPE foam sheet, type ASXAC40, offers 15 mm of material thickness over 553 x 353 mm and stays dissipative at 10E7 to 10E11 ohm.

Applications

The sheet is used as a base cushion in ESD containers for heavier assemblies, as a carrier for recesses and contour cut-outs in special packaging and as an interleaf when fully assembled devices are dispatched from the EPA. In returnable containers the firm grade lasts over many circulations. The range also covers thinner grades.
