PUR Foam AS35 Dissipative, Pink, 553 x 353 mm, 6 mm Thick - A1-ESD EP0705120

Parts inside an ESD container must neither slide around nor pick up charge. This PUR foam insert, cut to 553 x 353 mm, is set up dissipative at 10E7 to 10E11 ohm, so charge drains through the material in a controlled way. At 6 mm it is the thinnest grade in the range, intended as a base or interleaf layer that barely reduces the usable height of the container.

Technical data

Application

The sheet is used as a base layer in ESD cartons and containers, as an interleaf when stacking populated boards, and as a soft rest at the workstation inside the EPA. During in-house transport it damps shocks without interrupting charge equalisation.

The 553 x 353 mm sheet is available in several thicknesses. This article is the 6 mm version.
