This category covers pre-filters, main filters, combination filters and activated carbon cassettes for solder fume, laser fume and gas extraction units. Filters are available from ULT, Weller, Donaldson Bofa, Quick, Hakko, Oki, Ersa, JBC, Reeco and A1-ESD. They differ by stage and separation principle: M5 and F7 filter mats or expanded metal separators as pre-filters, HEPA main filters in classes H13 and H14 for fine dust, adsorption cassettes holding 6 kg to 16 kg of activated carbon, and gas stages with potassium permanganate for gases and vapours. The deciding factor is always the extractor series the filter is approved for.
