Fume Extractions
Laser fume and fine dust extraction
This category covers fume extractors for laser fume and fine dust from laser marking, engraving and cutting as well as other dusty workstations. The range comes from Donaldson Bofa, ULT and Weller. Units start with compact models at 80 m³/h and 1.900 Pa and go up to the DustPro 1500 iQ with 1250 m³/h. The main differences are vacuum (up to 7.500 Pa), filter stages up to H13, gas filters for odours, and monitoring such as iQ control or a NOx sensor.

How to choose Laser fume and fine dust extraction
What matters when choosing: properties, comparison and typical applications.
Selection criteria
| Criterion | What to check | Example from the range |
|---|---|---|
| Air flow | Size it by the number of extraction points and the capture method; several workstations need more air volume. | Weller Laser Line LL 400V with 645 m³/h |
| Vacuum | Long hoses, small nozzles and point extraction require high vacuum. | ULT LAS 0300.0 with 200 m³/h at 7.500 Pa |
| Particle filter | Laser fume is usually filtered with an H13 HEPA filter to DIN EN 1822. | ULT LAS 160 MD.11 SK, 4-stage filtration up to H13 |
| Gas and odour filter | Plastics and coated materials call for an additional gas filter. | Weller Zero Smog TL with gas filter |
| Dust load | With heavy dust, choose cleanable filter cartridges instead of plain replacement filters. | ULT LAS 0300.0-HD.13 with cleanable filter cartridges |
| Monitoring | Have filter status and air flow controlled and displayed automatically. | Donaldson Bofa AD 350 with NOx sensor |
