Heavy-duty workbenches Workshop

Workshop is Treston's range of industrial workbenches for heavy loads in workshops, maintenance and assembly. The 750 mm deep benches come in widths from 1000 to 2250 mm with a steel top (3 mm), a vinyl top with steel or plastic edges, or beech multiplex, at a fixed height of 840 or 850 mm or height-adjustable from 750 to 1000 mm, carrying up to 1000 kg with a steel top. The HWB workshop benches with 630 mm depth add versions with drawer unit 45 and perforated panel. Components such as the H-leg frame, worktops, lower shelf and castors are available separately.

Fixed height or height-adjustable - what is the difference?

Fixed-height benches stand at 840 or 850 mm. Height-adjustable Workshop benches can be set from 750 to 1000 mm, the beech multiplex version from 740 to 990 mm, and the HWB workshop benches from 680 to 980 mm or 695 to 995 mm.

Which work surface suits which load?

Benches with a steel top reach the highest load capacity of up to 1000 kg. Vinyl tops of the Workshop benches are rated for 750 kg, or 500 kg at 2250 mm width with plastic edges. Beech multiplex carries up to 600 kg. The HWB workshop benches carry 550 kg with a steel top and 450 kg with a vinyl top.

Which sizes are available?

Workshop benches come in widths of 1000, 1500, 2000 and 2250 mm with 750 mm depth. The HWB workshop benches have a 1500x630 mm or 2000x630 mm worktop.

Can a Workshop bench be made mobile?

Yes. The H-leg frame for mobile Workshop benches is height-adjustable from 730 to 950 mm and takes swivel castors with brake Ø 100 mm (250 kg) and fixed castors Ø 100 mm.

Are there benches with drawers and perforated panels?

Yes. The HWB workshop benches are available with drawer unit 45, under-bench drawers and perforated panel, and the 1500x750 mm Workshop bench also with a lockable drawer unit or with perforated panels.

Are worktops and shelves available separately?

Yes. Separate Workshop worktops are available with vinyl top and plastic edges in 1000x750x50 mm and 2000x750x50 mm, with vinyl top and steel edge in 2000x750x50 mm, and with a 3 mm steel top in 1000x750x50 mm. For benches with 1000 mm width there is a lower shelf of 870x648 mm rated for 200 kg.

Are Workshop benches suitable for ESD areas?

No, Workshop benches are not ESD versions. For ESD workstations, QuatreX or Concept Ergo with an ESD worktop are the right choice.
