How are system luminaires mounted?

As a pendant above the workplace, in the T-slot of a profile, on the wall, recessed flush or surface mounted. Profile mounting ties the luminaire firmly into the existing workstation system.

What does DALI dimmable mean?

DALI is a digital interface through which a central control addresses and dims every luminaire individually. Beyond that there are conventionally dimmable luminaires and versions that can be switched with an HF switch.

What is tunable white good for?

With tunable white you set the light colour steplessly, warm in the early morning and cool for inspection tasks. The function appears both in the light colour attribute and in the control attribute.

Which colour rendering do I need?

Ra 80 is enough for general assembly. For colour and surface checks, choose luminaires with Ra 90 or Ra 95.

Are there system luminaires for the EPA?

Yes, in the ESD attribute luminaires are marked TEC. For a supply from the workstation system there are also versions running on 24 V.

System luminaires become part of the furniture: they sit in the T-slot of a profile, hang above the work table or light up a shelf. The range covers short profile luminaires as well as long pendant versions, among others from Glamox, LED2WORK, Spelsberg and Waldmann. Luminous flux runs from 1500 lm to 10000 lm at 13 W to 41 W, and light colour from 3000 K to 5700 K plus tunable white. Control goes through DALI, conventional dimming or an HF switch, and luminaires for the EPA carry the TEC marking.
