Conductive PU Cushioning Foam Vermafoam, Sheets 1 x 1 m, 6 to 30 mm Thick - Desco

Shipping assemblies in cartons, boxes or cases calls for a cushion that absorbs shock without generating charge itself. Untreated foams are banned as packaging in the EPA under EN 61340-5-2. Vermafoam is a soft open-cell polyether foam with conductive impregnation, and with a surface resistance below 2 x 10⁴ ohms it sits in the conductive range. The sheets measure 1 x 1 m, with thickness selectable from 6 to 30 mm to suit the cushioning depth.

Standards

Meets EN 61340-5-1 (packaging table 4) and the packaging standard IEC 61340-5-3, resistance tested per IEC 61340-2-3. Mechanical values per BS 4443 part 1.
