This category holds 370 mounting parts and add-ons for luminaires, 366 of them from the Glamox range and 4 from LED2WORK: mounting frames and recessing kits, suspension tubes and wire suspensions, end caps, reflectors, diffusers and louvres, connectors, junction boxes and drivers. 53 items belong to the MNT mounting range alone, 22 to the TRACK system, 21 to the C52-S series and 15 to the QC connector range. 44 parts are assigned to recessed luminaires, 38 to surface-mounted ones and 19 to mast and bracket mounting. The choice follows the luminaire series and the mounting type, then the connection, the pin count and the IP rating, not the look of the part.

- How do I know which mounting frame fits my luminaire?
- Through the series name on the rating plate. Mounting frames are designed per series: 53 items belong to the MNT series alone, 21 to the C52-S series and 12 to the O4X-245/290 series. Check the ceiling cut-out as well, because frames that look alike differ in diameter.
- Which suspension do I need for pendant mounting?
- Suspension tubes hold the luminaire rigidly at a fixed height, wire suspensions can be adjusted in length and compensate for uneven ceilings. 9 items in this category are assigned to pendant mounting. Drop length, the weight of the luminaire and whether the supply runs inside the tube decide the choice.
- How do I choose connectors and junction boxes?
- By pin count and cable diameter. Three poles are enough for switched light, four or five are needed where a DALI control line runs along. The junction boxes take cables from 5.5 to 12 mm diameter; 16 items reach IP68 and another 5 reach IP67.
- What are reflectors, diffusers and louvres for?
- Reflectors direct the light downwards and raise the illuminance on the surface. Diffusers and louvres spread it wider and cut glare, for instance at screen workplaces. Both change the output of the luminaire, and the figures in this range run from 80 lm to 4600 lm.
- Do I need an additional driver?
- Only if the luminaire has no control gear of its own. 3 items are listed explicitly with a driver, and the PSU driver series covers 7 items. The output has to carry the sum of all luminaires connected; ratings from 7 W to 54 W are available.
- Does Glamox mounting material fit luminaires of other makes?
- As a rule it does not. 366 of the 370 items come from the Glamox range and are matched to its series, while 4 items come from LED2WORK. Only junction boxes and connectors are universal, since they are defined by pin count and cable diameter.
