This category covers mounting parts and add-ons for luminaires: mounting frames and recessing kits, suspension tubes and wire suspensions, end caps, reflectors, diffusers and louvres, connectors, junction boxes and drivers. Most of the range comes from Glamox, with further parts from LED2WORK, and it is organised by luminaire series such as MNT, TRACK, C52-S and QC. IP ratings run from IP20 for dry interiors up to IP68 for permanently wet locations, and driver ratings cover 7 W to 54 W. Start from the luminaire series and the mounting type, then check the connection, the pin count and the IP rating rather than the look of the part.

- How do I know which mounting frame fits my luminaire?
- Through the series name on the rating plate. Mounting frames are designed per series, for example for MNT, C52-S or O4X-245/290. Check the ceiling cut-out as well, because frames that look alike differ in diameter and in the way they latch.
- Which suspension do I need for pendant mounting?
- Suspension tubes hold the luminaire rigidly at a fixed height, wire suspensions can be adjusted in length and compensate for uneven ceilings. Drop length, the weight of the luminaire and whether the supply runs inside the tube decide the choice.
- How do I choose connectors and junction boxes?
- By pin count and cable diameter. Three poles are enough for switched light, four poles are needed where a DALI control line runs along. The junction boxes take cables from 5.5 to 12 mm diameter and reach IP67 or IP68.
- What are reflectors, diffusers and louvres for?
- Reflectors direct the light downwards and raise the illuminance on the surface, with narrow optics at 15° or 30°. Diffusers and louvres spread the light wider and cut glare, for instance at screen workplaces. Both change the output, which runs from 80 lm to 4600 lm here.
- Do I need an additional driver?
- Only if the luminaire has no control gear of its own. The PSU driver series is available for that case, with output ratings from 7 W to 54 W and extra-low voltage at 18 V or 24 V. The output has to carry the sum of all luminaires connected.
