On sites with water, mud and changing operators, the accuracy figure in the datasheet is not the only thing that counts, survival of the working day is. The NA724 automatic level from Leica Geosystems combines a standard deviation of 2.0 mm per kilometre double run with an IP57 rating, dust tight and protected against temporary immersion. At a 30 m sight a single measurement holds 1.2 mm.

Applications
Height control on foundations, floor slabs and screed. Sewer and utility work where the instrument stands in a wet environment. Road and path construction with longitudinal and cross sections. Levelling runs over longer distances. Work in shafts and tight interiors thanks to the 0.5 m short sight.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
The NA724 mounts on common construction and survey tripods via the 5/8 inch thread and works with standard levelling staffs. The delivery consists of the NA724 automatic level, the carrying case, the user manual on CD, an Allen key and a rain protection cover. Tripod and levelling staff are not included.
Standards, origin and identification
The protection class is tested to IEC 60529, level accuracy is determined to ISO 17123-2. Original Leica Geosystems instrument, country of origin China, customs tariff number 9015301000, EAN 7640110691762. The instrument is purely optical and contains no battery.
