This bracket picks up a luminaire of the Glamox i80 and i81 series on a horizontally tensioned wire. The luminaire is then carried by the wire run rather than by the ceiling, an arrangement common in halls and in rooms whose ceiling is hard to use. The position along the wire is set during installation, so rows of luminaires can be arranged without touching the ceiling structure.
