Before any excavation it has to be clear what lies below the surface. The DD300 Connect locates buried utilities from 0.1 to 7 m deep and reports the depth to 5 percent accuracy, twice as precise as the 10 percent of the DD100 Series. Six transmitter frequencies from 512 Hz to 131 kHz cover power, gas, water and telecom in a single instrument.

Applications
Utility search ahead of groundwork in civil and road construction, exposing house connections, checking route alignments for power, gas, water and telecom network operators, tracing drains and plastic pipes with a sonde, and recording utility assets with a position reference.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
The DD300 Connect works with the Leica DA300 signal transmitter and with the Leica sonde range, meaning Mini Sonde 33, Duct Sonde 33, Midi Sonde 8/33, Clamp Sonde 33 and Maxi Sonde 8/33. Data download, remote calibration verification and firmware updates run over Bluetooth or USB. Analysis is handled by DX Shield software with reports on product use, configuration and maintenance.
