Locator set with signal transmitter for sonde depth to 9.99 m and case - Leica DD130 Depth Package 50 Hz

Finding a buried line is one job, judging its depth reliably is another, and that second one needs locator and signal transmitter working together. This package supplies both as a matched pair, the DD130 50 Hz and the 1 watt DA175 transmitter. Locating then reaches 3 m on a line and 9.99 m on a sonde, more than three times the sonde depth of the DD120.

• Extended depth estimation only as a pair, because locator and transmitter together are what produce the depth reading. Sonde locating reaches 9.99 m instead of the 3 m of the DD120.
• Four frequencies on both sides, the DA175 transmits 33 kHz, 8 kHz, 512 Hz and 640 Hz in direct connection and therefore matches the four transmitter frequencies of the DD130 exactly.
• Up to a maximum of 1 watt output on a buried line with 300 ohm impedance, so long or heavily attenuated routes still carry a signal that can be evaluated.
• Signal current measurement on the DD130 tells the target line apart from neighbouring services, joined by Hazard Zone indication, a shallow service mode and automatic pinpointing without manual sensitivity setting.
• 15 h and 30 h of operation, the locator runs 15 h from 6 x LR6 (AA), the transmitter 30 h in intermittent operation from 4 x D alkaline cells. The alkaline batteries are included.
• System carry bag for both units, the 2.7 kg locator and the 2.5 kg transmitter travel to site together, and the Good-to-Go self test checks the DD130 at start-up.

Civil engineering and groundworks before digging or drilling, route finding and route tracing on site, utility operators and maintenance teams in power, gas and telecom networks, tracing drainage lines and empty ducts with a sonde down to 9.99 m, checking as-built records and exposing house connections. The induction mode of the DA175 helps wherever no chamber and no exposed conductor is available for a direct connection.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The DA175 works with the locators of the Leica Detect series DD120, DD130 and DD175, and in this package it is paired with the DD130 50 Hz. Sondes for duct and drain tracing are not part of the delivery and are ordered separately. The package consists of three components.

The locator is protected to IP54, the signal transmitter to IP67 with the lid closed and IP65 with the lid open.
