The JBC RBB-2A is a high-power bottom preheater for reworking medium to large PCBs such as those found in laptops or panelised boards. By preheating the whole board, it reduces the thermal gradient created when heat is applied at a single point. This lets you solder and desolder components gently, without damaging sensitive parts or copper traces.
Key benefits
- 1800 W peak power for fast, even heating of large surfaces
- 360 x 277 mm heating area with two independently controlled zones for tailored heat distribution
- Precise temperature control from 50 to 250 °C to avoid thermal shock and board warping
- ESD-safe construction protects static-sensitive assemblies
