Long plot runs and sewer sections between two manholes are exactly the case where a 50 m rod stops short of the target and the survey has to be repeated from the far end. The Leica Trace Rod 80 extends the reach to 80 m of working length and carries the DD Signal Transmitter output into non-conductive pipes, drains and ducts up to 100 mm diameter.
