Valves

Festo Pneumatik

Festo valves cover the complete spectrum of pneumatic control valves: electrically and pneumatically operated directional control valves to ISO 5599-1 and ISO 15218, mechanically and manually operated variants, shut-off, pressure, and flow control valves, as well as proportional valves for regulated processes. Media valves for aggressive or non-lubricated compressed air and pneumatic logic controls complete the range. All valve types are matched to Festo valve terminals and manifold plates.

The range extends from small standard valves with M5 ports to process valves with G 1 1/2 threads, and includes VAPB ball valves, proportional valves, and Classic series for spare parts supply on older installations.

Directional valves to ISO 5599-1 / ISO 15218 - standardised installation dimensions, interchangeable between manufacturers, 3/2-, 5/2-, and 5/3-way functions
Proportional valves - continuous pressure and flow control via analogue setpoint, for closed-loop regulation
VAPB ball valves - pneumatically actuated process valves G 1/4 to G 1 1/2 for water treatment and chemical applications
Non-return valves - check, shuttle, and dual-pressure valves as logic elements requiring no external power

Directional valves are selected by actuation type (electrical, pneumatic, mechanical), function (3/2, 5/2, 5/3), port size (M5 to G 3/4), and standard series (ISO 5599-1, ISO 15218, Namur VDE/VDI 3845). Proportional valves are used for regulated processes. Media valves are chosen by the fluid to be controlled (compressed air, water, aggressive fluids) and actuation type (electrical or pneumatic). The Classic series provides spare parts for older installations.

Typical applications: Automation systems with valve terminals and PLC control, machine tools and assembly lines, food and pharmaceutical processes using media valves for water and steam, chemical plants with corrosion-resistant process valves, and test benches with proportional pressure control.
