Valves
Festo pneumatic controls are purely fluidic control devices requiring no electrical energy: counters, timers, addition counters and two-hand control blocks manage pneumatic circuits through compressed air signals. The 20-article range spans the PZ/PZA/PZV/PZVT and ZSB series. Addition counters (PZA-A-B, PZA-E-C, CCES-P-C8-E) register pulses; preset counters (PZV-E-C, PZV-S-E) trigger an output after reaching a preset count; timers (PZVT) switch after an adjustable delay from 3 seconds to 99,999 minutes.

Timer ranges are covered by separate PZVT variants: PZVT-3-SEC (3 s), PZVT-30-SEC (30 s), PZVT-120-SEC (120 s), PZVT-300-SEC (300 s), PZVT-999-SEC-B and PZVT-99999-MIN-B for longer cycle times. The PZVT-FR front frame and PZVT-S-DIN mounting base simplify DIN-rail installation. The two-hand control block ZSB-1/8-B is qualified to Machinery Directive safety category 4. CCES-P-C8-E is a C8 bus-compatible counter for Festo valve island integration.
Typical applications: Parts counting and stacking control without PLC, time-controlled sequences in all-pneumatic systems (hazardous areas without electrical equipment), two-hand safety controls for presses and punch tooling, pneumatic sequence control with time delay, and pulse/timing functions in pneumatic step-sequence programs.
