For dry tip cleaning the brush rollers of the CLEAN-O-POINT rotate against the hot tip and release residual solder and oxide layers without cooling the tip down. The Elvo 3007-BRUSH assembly supplies the stainless steel brushes already mounted in the solder container with stripper, so the change unit drops into the machine without any conversion work.
