ESD Kapton polyimide tape black 15 mm x 33 m - WL48200

Wide connector strips and larger contact areas can only be masked in overlapping layers with narrow tape. This black polyimide tape from SafeGuard ESD is 15 mm wide and 33 m long, set to a dissipative level, and withstands process heat of up to 300 °C for short periods.

Applications

Masking wide connector strips, edge connectors and contact areas before wave soldering, fixing cable looms and thermocouples, insulating conductors, and masking during conformal coating of electronic assemblies.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The 76 mm core fits common bench dispensers and tape holders. Delivery comprises one roll measuring 15 mm wide and 33 m long.

The dissipative surface resistance of 10⁵ ohms meets the requirement for dissipative auxiliary materials in EPA areas according to IEC 61340-5-1.
