The sponge rollers are the actual cleaning medium inside the Elvo CLEAN-O-POINT. They strip residual solder and oxide from the hot soldering tip without attacking the iron plating, unlike hard brushing or dry wiping. Being a wear part they are changed regularly and are supplied here in a pack of 8 pieces.

Applications
Routine soldering tip care in electronics manufacturing, rework and test areas. Replacement is due once the rollers harden, become saturated with solder or tear, and the tip no longer comes out bright after a cleaning cycle.

Suitable for the Elvo CLEAN-O-POINT (COP) cleaner. Scope of delivery: 8 sponge rollers 3008. For heavily loaded tips stainless steel brushes are available as an alternative, along with further wear parts such as solder containers and gears.
