On complex and highly miniaturised assemblies, blades and hand tools cause stress in the laminate, breakage and torn out glass fibres. Instead, the Tractor Mill 2 mills the routed tabs away with a 1.5 to 2.5 mm cutter and reaches the quality of automatic systems at a considerably lower purchase cost.

• Milling instead of cutting, so there is no bending stress and no tearing of glass fibres
• The interchangeable patented rail guides the panel and will not match the eyelet if inserted incorrectly
• Integrated single phase extraction turbine with 900 W and -17 kPa depression, no external vacuum needed
• Board thicknesses up to 4 mm and slot widths from 1.0 to 3.175 mm
• Pedal operation keeps both hands on the panel
• Handles FR4 and CEM, aluminium with an optional cutter

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Before depaneling the suitable cutter from 1.5 to 2.5 mm and the rail matching the panel are selected. The machine is supplied with integrated extraction and pedal, cutters for aluminium are available as an accessory.

Designed and built by Iteco Trading in Italy. The interchangeable rail is patented and, according to the manufacturer, provides protection against accidents when the safety rules are observed.
