Pipe laser red 200 m laser class 3R with Alignmaster and case - Leica Piper 200

Laying pipe to a set fall means holding the line and the invert level across the whole run. The Leica Piper 200 projects a red 635 nm reference beam over a working range below 200 m and levels itself across -15 % to +30 %. The cast aluminium housing is permanently waterproof to IPx8 and survives a flooded run.

Benefits

• Alignmaster for the second working day, the line is returned automatically to the reference set earlier. That removes the need to survey the run in again.
• Grade range -10 % to +25 % covers gravity sewers, storm water lines and pressure mains with one instrument. The self-levelling range is wider still at -15 % to +30 %.
• Self-levelling accuracy plus/minus 1.5 mm at 30 m, so the invert level stays inside normal laying tolerances even over long runs.
• IPx8 protection and a cast aluminium housing, the laser keeps working in the shaft, in mud and under water. Operation from -20 °C to +50 °C.
• Li-Ion battery with up to 40 h of operation and a 4 h charge time, one battery carries a full working week on two shifts.
• Remote control reaching 150 m from the front and 10 m from the back, grade and line are adjusted from the trench without walking back to the instrument.
• Fits pipes from 100 mm diameter at a 96 mm body diameter and 267 mm length, so the instrument also works in small bores.

Applications

Sewer and waste water pipe laying, storm water and combined sewers, house connections, drainage, inverted siphons and duct runs, trench work in civil engineering as well as the renewal of existing runs.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Supplied is the Piper 200 laser in the class 3R version in its carrying case, without further accessories. Depending on the job the following are also needed:

• Target assembly matched to the pipe diameter, for 300 mm pipe the red version with the small insert
• GEB221 Li-Ion battery, 7.4 V and 4.4 Ah together with the matching charger
• IR remote control for operation from the trench
• Trivet with mounting bracket for set-up inside a manhole
• Feet in the matching nominal size, available for 150, 200, 225, 250 and 300 mm

Accessories are interchangeable across the Piper line, targets, battery, remote control and trivet also fit the Piper 100 and the green 100G and 200G versions.
