Pipe laser package green beam 200 m with target set, battery and charger - Leica Piper 100G

The Leica Piper 100G pipe laser transfers grade and line inside the pipe with a self-levelling accuracy of ± 1.5 mm at 30 m over a working range of up to 200 m. This package combines the instrument in its carrying case with a target assembly, a li-ion battery, a single charger and a power supply unit, so the crew can start on the run without buying anything else. The green 520 nm beam is four times more visible than a red beam, which increases the usable distance from the instrument position and raises levelling accuracy. An IR remote control is not included here, the same package is also offered in a version with an IR remote control.

Applications

Sewer and pipeline construction, waste water lines, house connections and checks on existing runs. The laser works inside the pipe, over the top and in the manhole, and with a housing diameter of 96 mm it starts at a pipe diameter of 100 mm. In water and waste water work the green beam pays off because it stays easy to read in bright surroundings and sunlight.

This package contains no IR remote control. Anyone who needs line control from a distance takes the package version with the IR remote control or adds the IR remote control with material number 746157 later. A spare GEB221 battery, the GKL311 charger, the GEV192 power supply unit and further target plates such as the 100 mm PTC100 are available separately.

Standards and origin

Class 3R laser product to IEC 60825-1:2014 with a maximum average radiant power of 4.8 mW. Some countries impose additional safety requirements on class 3R instruments, for those cases Leica offers the Piper 100G 2M version with the same working range. The protection class is IPx8, the manufacturer does not state a dust figure. The package contains a lithium-ion battery and is shipped with the corresponding labelling.
