Not every line sits in quiet surroundings. Close to traction current, cable bundles and steel reinforcement a single sonde frequency can disappear into the noise floor. The Midi Sonde 8/33 answers that with a choice of 8 kHz or 33 kHz and is picked up by the DD locator down to 5 m. Its 38 mm body travels safely in drains and sewers of common cross section.
