Foldable Aluminium Tripod Star, 102 cm Spread, for Smooth Floors - Leica GST4

On natural ground pointed feet bite by themselves, on screed, tiles or asphalt they do not. That is exactly where a tripod slowly splays and the set-up drifts during the measurement. The Leica GST4 tripod star couples the three feet into a fixed triangle and takes that movement out of the stand.

• Positive location instead of friction: every arm has a drilled hole with a locking ring for the tripod foot, so the legs can no longer splay.
• Spread of about 102 cm: matches the usual leg spread of wooden and aluminium tripods of the GST and CT series.

Applications

Set-up in halls and industrial buildings on screed, concrete and tiles, work on asphalt and concrete decks, interior fit-out and plant construction. Wherever the tripod points cannot penetrate the surface and readings still have to be taken from one station over a longer period.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The GST4 is matched to the Leica GST tripod series and equally suits the CT160, CTP104 and CET270 aluminium tripods as well as third party tripods with pointed feet. Supplied as the tripod star, the tripod itself is not included.
