Electric drives
Festo electric axes of the EGC series are motor-driven linear axes for precise positioning in automation technology. The programme includes toothed belt axes (TB version) in profile sizes EGC-70, EGC-80, and EGC-120, and spindle axes (BS-10P version) in size EGC-70. Toothed belt axes are available in stroke lengths from 300 to 1500 mm and are suited to dynamic horizontal applications; spindle axes offer higher rigidity and thrust for shorter strokes of 100 to 500 mm.
The standard designation KF-0H-GK identifies a cross-roller guide (KF), no integrated holding brake (0H), and an aluminium housing (GK). The motor coupling is selected separately from the EAMC/EAMF programme and mounted at the axis end.

Typical applications: X-Y gantry systems in electronics manufacturing and laboratory automation, transfer axes in assembly lines for medium and heavy payloads, Z-axes in placement machines with high repeatable positioning accuracy, and pressing and joining processes with defined force profiles using the BS spindle version.
