Frequently asked questions

Which concentrate is suitable for general cleaning in an ultrasonic bath?
For oil, grease and general soiling, use the universal cleaners TR 3, TR 7 and R 33. TR 7 is demulsifying, R 33 is alkaline and contains a corrosion inhibitor.
Can I clean printed circuit boards in an ultrasonic bath?
The ammonia-based cleaner RW 77 is intended for plastic parts, printed circuit boards and metal. For plastics, glass and cuvettes there is also the surfactant-free special cleaner R 36.
What does demulsifying mean?
A demulsifying cleaner does not keep the removed oil bound in the solution. The oil rises to the surface and can be skimmed off the bath.
Does every product need to be diluted before use?
The concentrates are mixed with water before use. The deoxidising solution J 80 U, by contrast, is ready to use.
Which container sizes are available?
Depending on the product, 1, 2, 5, 10 or 200 litres. The alkaline universal cleaning concentrate R 33, for example, comes in 1, 10 and 200 litres.
