Selective Soldering

Soldering

For selective soldering, esd.equipment stocks A1-ESD solder nozzles for the TOP-353C and TOP-375CE selective soldering systems. The nozzles differ in their dimensions: narrow versions such as 8 x 47 mm or the 12 mm series from 12 x 42 to 12 x 132 mm, medium sizes such as 13 x 25, 15 x 122 or 20 x 100 mm, and square nozzles of 22 x 22, 27 x 27 and 32 x 32 mm. The right nozzle depends on the size of the solder joint and the clearance to neighbouring components.

Frequently asked questions

Which selective soldering systems are the nozzles for?
The A1-ESD solder nozzles fit the TOP-353C and TOP-375CE selective soldering systems.
Which nozzle sizes are available?
Dimensions range from narrow nozzles such as 8 x 47 mm and the 12 mm series from 12 x 42 to 12 x 132 mm, through medium sizes such as 13 x 25, 21 x 40 or 20 x 100 mm, up to square nozzles of 22 x 22, 27 x 27 and 32 x 32 mm.
Which nozzle suits densely populated assemblies?
Narrow versions such as 8 x 47 mm or the 12 mm series leave more clearance to neighbouring components. Wide square nozzles are intended for larger solder areas.
Why keep several nozzle sizes in stock?
Different assemblies call for different nozzle geometries. With a set of matching nozzles you can switch between jobs without waiting for replacements.
