Electrical connection technology
Festo connectors for electrical connection technology include valve socket outlets of the MSSD series and indicator plugs of the MCL/MFL families. The MSSD socket outlets are available in versions C, E, F, and V for different valve socket form factors, supplemented by special versions such as MSSD-C-S-M16, MSSD-EB-M12-MONO, and MSSD-ZBZC. Indicator plugs MCL and MFL provide LED indication at 24 VDC/AC and 230 VAC for switching status display on solenoid valves, with Zener diode variants MCLZ and MFLZ for intrinsically safe circuits.
Illuminated seals of the MC-LD, ME-LD, MEB-LD, MF-LD, and MV-LD series with integrated LEDs enable an even more compact status display directly in the connector housing. For time-delayed switching, the delay intermediate plug MFZ-0-10E-24DC is available.

Typical applications: Direct connection of Festo solenoid valves and valve terminals to 24 VDC and 230 VAC control circuits, retrofitting LED indicators to existing valve installations for operational status monitoring, use of M12 connectors in modern systems with fieldbus valve technology, and time-delayed valve actuation for specific process sequences.
