Accessories for grippers
Gripper
Festo's accessories programme for grippers includes gripper jaw blanks from the BUB line and over 40 adapter kits from the HAPG range for the mechanical interface between gripper and robot flange or linear axis. Blanks are available for the HGPL-14, HGPL-25, and HGPL-40 series and are made from aluminium that can be CNC-milled. The HAPG kits cover variants from HAPG-1 to HAPG-41 and include straight adapters, angle versions, and special geometries for different mounting situations.
For adapter kit selection, the determining factors are the gripper type, the robot or axis flange, and the mounting orientation. HAPG-1 to HAPG-24 are long-established standard adapters for the most common Festo gripper series; HAPG-34 to HAPG-41 address newer series with modified bolt patterns. Gripper jaw blanks BUB are selected to match the gripper size; the semi-finished part can be machined on standard CNC milling equipment.
Typical applications: Adapting Festo grippers to robot flanges and linear axes in assembly automation, manufacturing custom-shaped jaw inserts for special geometries in turned part and injection moulding handling, and retrofitting and extending existing gripper installations in the electronics and automotive industries.
