Unitop compact cylinder
Flange mountings of the NXB series allow front-face installation of Unitop compact cylinders on housing panels or machine walls. Attachment is made via flange holes at the front cylinder cap, enabling flush through-panel mounting and reducing the overall assembly height. The range covers bore sizes 12/16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 80 and 100 mm of the Airtec NXB series.
Front-face flange mounting - attachment at front cylinder cap; through-panel installation possible
Bore sizes 12/16 to 100 mm - NXB 12/16 to NXB 100, geometrically matched to NXD/NXE
Flush mounting - cylinder passes through a panel; piston rod exits on the opposite side
No adapter needed - flange mounts directly onto the cylinder body; secured by screws

Typical applications: NXB flange mountings suit installation situations where the cylinder needs to be fed through a housing panel or machine wall, such as pick-and-place and test automation, valve and shut-off units, and clamping fixtures where the force axis must be perpendicular to the mounting face.
