Unitop compact cylinder
Fork swivel mounts of the NXC series allow Unitop compact cylinders to be pivotably held in a clevis bracket, so the cylinder can follow the angular movement of the attached load without transferring lateral forces to the piston rod. The range covers bore diameters 32, 40, 50, 63, 80 and 100 mm of the Airtec NXC series. Swivel mountings are required whenever the cylinder stroke axis does not remain rigidly aligned but rotates slightly in operation.

Typical applications: Fork swivel mounts are used when the cylinder forms part of a kinematic chain moving lids, flaps or levers: toolholders with swivel motion, lift tables with hinge kinematics, clamping elements on rotary tables, and safety latches that need to execute a pivot travel.
