Precision Invar Levelling Staff 2 m with cm Graduation for Precise Levelling - Leica GPLE2N

In precise levelling the staff decides the result just as much as the instrument. An aluminium staff expands over a working day by amounts that show up in the tenth of a millimetre range of the measurement. The GPLE2N precision invar staff therefore carries its graduation on an invar tape held by a soft spring, so the scale behaves independently of the staff body.
