On a site without a socket a charging station is more ballast than help. This kit therefore runs on standard alkaline cells in the A150 holder and reaches 60 operating hours. The Rugby 610 self-levels within ± 5 degrees, works to ± 2.2 mm at 30 m and covers a working diameter of 800 m with the Rod Eye 120.

Anyone moving to rechargeable operation later simply fits the A600 lithium-ion pack with the A100 charger, since the laser accepts both power sources. For longer reach the Rod Eye 140 and Rod Eye 160 receivers are available. The bracket for staff or grade rod belongs to the receiver, and the manufacturer lists the user manual as supplied.
