Not every corridor can be traced cleanly on a single frequency. Low frequencies travel far and bleed very little onto neighbouring lines, while high frequencies couple more easily onto poorly earthed or short sections. Covering 256 Hz to 200 kHz, the 80 mm clamp spans the whole range of the DD Signal Transmitter, so frequency choice stays a question of the job rather than of the accessory at hand.
