ESD Measuring
ESD measurement instruments quantify surface resistances, electrostatic field strengths, and body/worksurface discharge values. The range spans from compact handheld meters to fully calibrated audit kit sets: teraohmmeters such as the EP-RM 4000 and Safe-Stat RM 4000 cover resistance ranges from 10&sup4; to 10¹² Ω while simultaneously logging date, time, temperature, and humidity. Surface resistance meters in the SRM series (Warmbier SRM 110, SRM 200) and high-resistance meters in the Metriso line (B530, 3000) serve routine workshop measurements and IEC 61340 compliance verification.
For complete EPA audits, combined resistance and field measurement kits are available: the ESD Audit Kit Professional includes all electrodes, test leads, and calibration aids for a structured zone audit per DIN EN 61340-5-1. Charged plate monitors (CPM 74, CPM 8374B) measure ionizer performance and discharge time. Supplementary calibration services and verification units (e.g. Warmbier RM.VU) ensure traceability of measurement results.
