Digital field meter in ESD service case - Safeguard SFM PRO ZBS

The Safeguard SFM PRO ZBS is the digital electrostatic field meter of the SFM PRO line, supplied in a high-quality, rugged ESD service case with foam insert for easy storage and safe transport. It measures electrostatic fields contactlessly and converts the field strength into the charge in volts via the set measuring distance.

A star-shaped induction electrode at the top works with a grounded rotating modulation vane (field-mill principle); a ring-electrode system mechanically protects the vane and field plate. The very high zero-point stability removes the calibration step required by other systems before each measurement.

Standards and compliance

With the optional Charge Plate Set the instrument can be extended for ionizer verification to IEC 61340-5-1 and EOS/ESD S3.1. The SFM PRO ZBS supports an ESD control program to the IEC 61340 series.
