Digital field meter in ESD service case - Safeguard SFM PRO ZBS

The Safeguard SFM PRO ZBS is the digital field meter of the SFM PRO range, supplied in a sturdy ESD service case with foam insert for easy storage and safe transport. It measures electrostatic fields without contact and converts the field strength directly into the charge in volts over the set measuring distance.

A star-shaped induction electrode sits at the top, with a grounded modulation impeller rotating in front of it (field mill principle); a ring electrode system mechanically protects the impeller and field plate. The very high zero-point stability removes the adjustment otherwise needed before each measurement.

Standards and compliance

With the optional charge plate set the device can be extended for ioniser testing to IEC 61340-5-1 and EOS/ESD S3.1. The SFM PRO ZBS supports an ESD control programme to the IEC 61340 series.
