Digital electrostatic field meter with carry pouch - Safeguard SFM PRO

The Safeguard SFM PRO field meter measures electrostatic fields quickly and reproducibly and converts the measured field strength directly into the charge in volts over the set measuring distance. The conductive plastic housing and high-quality components deliver precise values for reliable protection against electrostatic discharge.

A star-shaped induction electrode sits at the top, with a grounded modulation impeller of the same star shape rotating in front of it (field mill principle). A surrounding ring electrode system mechanically protects the impeller and field plate. The very high zero-point stability makes the adjustment otherwise needed before each measurement unnecessary.

Standards and compliance

With the optional charge plate set (not included) the device can be turned into a charge plate monitor for ionisation equipment to IEC 61340-5-1 and EOS/ESD S3.1. The SFM PRO supports the ESD control concept to the IEC 61340 series.
