Field meter verification kit in aluminium case - Safeguard SFM PRO AKC

The Safeguard SFM PRO AKC verification kit provides the full range of precise ESD measuring systems in a rugged aluminium case. It combines the Safeguard electrostatic field meter, the Charge Plate Set (CPS) and a Volt Meter Set (VMS) for the walking test, covering field measurement, ionizer verification and body-voltage measurement.

The field meter works on the field-mill principle: a star-shaped induction electrode operates with a grounded rotating modulation vane; a ring-electrode system protects the vane and field plate. With the Charge Plate Set it becomes a charge-plate monitor for verifying air ionizers to DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EOS/ESD S3.1; the decay time from +1,000 V to +100 V or -1,000 V to -100 V is measured with an integrated start-stop timer, with charging via an external HV converter. The Volt Meter Set extends the system into a walking test kit comprising the MK voltage measuring head, a hand electrode and accessories for measuring body voltage.

Standards and compliance

The Charge Plate Set enables ionizer verification to DIN EN 61340-5-1 and EOS/ESD S3.1. The complete kit supports an ESD control program to the IEC 61340 series. Fully standard-compliant charge-plate measurements require the larger CPM charge-plate monitor.
