Pneumatic connection technology
Festo MK protective hose systems provide mechanical protection for pneumatic tubing and cables against abrasion, crushing and spray water. Metal protective conduits MK-4 and MK-6 are sized for hose bundles with 4 mm and 6 mm inside diameter respectively. Terminal fittings include PG cable glands (MKRL), lock nuts (MKM) and adapter fittings (MKA) in PG9, PG11, PG16, PG21 and PG29 sizes.
Installation kits (HMZAS) for PG21 and PG29, plus a distribution box HMZV for central protective hose routing in control cabinets, round out the range. Clamp brackets MKRS-10-B secure the conduit to fixed structures.

Typical applications: Cable management at robot work cells and handling systems subject to bending stress, protection of pneumatic lines in areas with swarf or coolant, control cabinet entry and wall penetration fittings with PG glands, and retrofit protection for existing cable and hose bundles.
