Festo Pneumatic Connection Technology covers all components for secure and leak-free joining of compressed air lines, tubing, and devices. The range spans push-in and threaded fittings, push-in connectors for rigid tubes (PQ series), distributors, protective conduit systems, couplings, and matching accessories. All connection components are coordinated with Festo tubing systems (PUN, PAN, PLN, etc.) and standard thread sizes (G, NPT, BSPT).

Selection depends on tubing or pipe outside diameter, the thread size of the connected device, and the operating environment. For standard polyurethane tubing (PUN), brass QS push-in fittings are sufficient. Corrosion- or media-resistant versions (stainless steel CRQS) are chosen for food, medical, or chemical contact. Welding cells and robot applications require the QS-V0 weld-spatter resistant version. Rigid tubes (6-16 mm) connect via PQ push-in fittings. Quick-release couplings allow tool-free consumer changeover without pressure loss.
Typical applications: Pneumatic machine building with flexible tubing, robot cells (QS-V0 weld-spatter resistant), food and pharmaceutical operations (CRQS stainless steel), assembly systems with frequently changing consumers (quick couplings), control air distribution via manifolds, and routing and mechanical protection of tubing in cable drag chains and machine enclosures.
